MakoLab is a company with strong roots in its home city – Łódź. For many years it has supported projects which contribute to the city’s development and promotion. At the beginning of the year, MakoLab finished an Internet site which enables to observe construction works at the Fabryczna railway station. This week, another portal related to communication in Łódź has been launched – the Internet site of the Łódź’s Władysław Reymont airport. The goal of the new site’s design was to provide the airport’s clients with a user-friendly portal presenting the network of connections and services offered by the airport. Of particular importance was the fact that the new terminal has been opened in a short period of time. According to the commission, MakoLab’s experts prepared a graphical design which emphasizes the functionality and modern character of Łódź’s airport. Maps of connections, developed in the flash technology, enable to quickly select among particular flight destinations. The aesthetics of the site refer to the airport’s new logo – which is accordant with the new identification assumed by the city. The entire design is coherent and transparent. The portal’s heart is constituted by MakoLab’s CMS – easyOne.
The new site has been developed in the PHP technology with application of the MySQL database.
